Gilbrethek has accredited the time – and the development of exercise examinations. Frank Bunker Gilbreth and his wife Dr. Lillian M. Gilbreth worked on understanding fatigue, ability development, motion tests, and timing. Lillian Gilbreth Ph.D. in Psychology, which helped to understand many people's questions. One of the most important things Gilbrethss did was to put basic human movements into seventeen types, some effective and some ineffective. Classification tables are marked. Effective tabs are useful for doing the job and ineffective tablets are not. Gilbreth has come to the conclusion that the time to make an effective billboard can be shortened, but it will be very difficult to put an end to it. On the other hand, ineffective taboos should be completely eliminated if possible.  In 1948, the American Institute of Industrial Engineers (AIIE) opened for the first time and began to practice professional authenticity for practicing engineers. Until now, industrial engineers have no specific place in the company hierarchy. ASME was the only society in which members were required to pursue engineering degrees before developing AIIE.

Creating a Motion Study Every job can be broken down into its core work elements. The Gilbreth family found that there were seventeen such moves. The ending time for each movement is unchanged. Workplaces can be studied visually or with a microscope camera
The environment of workers must also be created to promote work efficiency. Tools should be placed in fixed locations to eliminate search and selection tasks. Work surfaces and the chair should be adjusted to the correct working height to eliminate stress. Where possible, gravity dispensers should be used to deliver the parts to the correct location. Worker's assets should be designed to eliminate multiple cuts. Adjustment handles should be designed to maximize the operator's mechanical benefits.
Execution of Time Measurement Without standard, the company is not able to judge the lead time of the products. Many times when the employee does not know what the company expects. To correct this problem, IE provides equitable standards for each operation. It is estimated that 12% of the company's total cost comes from direct labor. A further 43% of the costs come from material costs. The other 45% is spent as an additional cost. A timely study takes into account the inevitable delays, tiredness and, to a certain extent, interventions. The time for wasteful steps, such as searching for devices, does not include the final standard. The expectation that jobs are planned to receive jobs and will be free from this kind of waste.
Set-Up Times Setting the time is the time machine. If setting times remain high, the company is working at a high level of workforce, and the finished products are combined with valuable capital. Companies that are unable to reduce their creation time are inclined to look slow in terms of their customers.

Efficiency The Traditional Way of Efficiency Testing was to Make Machine Work 100% The idea was that the machine costs could be extended over time. The greater the efficiency of the machines, the time available and the time available, the better the accounting figures were for machine cost.
